Christian Löffler & Sven Helbig – Concert Tour 2026
The electronic musician Christian Löffler and the composer Sven Helbig will go on tour together for the first time in 2026. Both share a special approach to sound: Löffler creates emotionally dense electronic compositions with minimalist means – between club culture, art music, and nature observation. Sven Helbig, on the other hand, moves as a composer and sound researcher between classical music, choral art, and subtle electronics.
For this concert tour, the two are developing a joint program that seamlessly transitions from Helbig's music to Löffler's. At the center is a shared piano quartet that serves as a connecting element for both artists. The audience will experience a well-composed evening in which orchestral depth, intimate chamber music, and electronic textures merge into each other.
Helbig's work "Requiem A," premiered in 2025 with the Vienna Symphonics, caused an international stir. His work with choir, electronics, and classical ensemble meets Löffler's fragile, often pictorial soundscapes – a connection that opens up surprising perspectives. Two artistic positions, two styles, come together in a musical exploration between structure and atmosphere, between past.
