Max Raabe und das Palast Orchester - Hummeln streicheln

Stroking a big, soft bumblebee — wouldn’t that be something! Max Raabe & Palast Orchester have fulfilled this wish musically with their new 2025 concert program “Hummel streicheln” (Stroking a Bumblebee).
Max Raabe loves animals. In his song Hummel, he imagines himself in their world — wanting to put cookies into kangaroos’ pouches or fell trees together with beavers in certain places. But his thoughts also revolve around the effects of autocorrect (“Nochmal von vorn”), riding a bicycle, or — as we know — missing the perfect moment.
In the concert program “Hummel streicheln”, Max Raabe & the Palast Orchester have great fun combining popular Raabe-pop hits with timeless original songs from the 1920s and 1930s such as Heute Nacht oder nie or Wenn die Elisabeth.
While Max Raabe guides the audience through the program in his quirky and humorous way, the appreciative audience can simply lean back and relax.
By the way, it’s worth buzzing over — no… zooming in — on the social media channels of Max Raabe & the Palast Orchester. In the coming weeks, funny video clips for the song “Hummel” will be released there.
